Broadview Energy has today invited residents to a third public exhibition of its plans for the proposed five turbine Starbold wind farm, which is to be located between the villages of Knightcote and Bishop’s Itchington in Warwickshire.

The exhibition will be held at Knightcote Village Hall on Thursday 8th December 2011, between 2.00pm and 8.00pm, and will give local residents the opportunity to find out more from the Broadview team about their plans, including changes to the project’s layout and access route.  The amendments have been made after listening to feedback from the local community and following expert advice from independent consultants.  The new route will avoid the need for significant road widening works and will minimise potential disturbances to local features of ecological interest.

As well as seeing the new route, those attending the exhibition will have the chance to be informed of the likely timescales for submission of the planning application and discuss results of the various studies which have been carried out. Members of the Broadview team, along with specialist technical consultants, will be on hand to answer questions from members of the public.

James Turner-Moore, Project Manager for Broadview Energy, said: “The public exhibition will be a great opportunity for members of the local community to receive an update about the Starbold proposal and, in particular, our revised access option.  We are committed to maintaining a good dialogue with the local community and hope that as many people as possible will attend the exhibition.”
