Broadview is pleased to announce that the construction of the Seamer wind farm is due to commence on Monday 19th September 2011.  The Seamer wind farm lies across the administrative boundaries of Hambleton and Stockton-on-Tees. The site is situated on working arable farm land between the villages of Seamer and Hilton.

Raymond Brown Construction Ltd has been awarded the construction contract and will be preparing the site which includes access tracks, electrical substation, cabling, plus the turbine foundations ready to receive the five REpower MM92 turbines in late Spring 2012.

When operational, the five 2 MW wind turbines are expected to generate enough electricity to meet the average annual electricity demands of 6,400 households in the region.
